Stephen Monod was called to the Paris Bar on October 7, 1981.
He graduated from University Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne and from University Paris IV Sorbonne, after respectively reading law and history.
Binational French and British, he taught French law at King's College London from September 1982 until June 1983 and French Civil law at the University of Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne from September 1984 until 1986.
Based on in-coming clients, he started his law firm on March 16, 1987, rapidly counselling and representing in Court, advertising agencies, pharmaceutical laboratories and members of the pilot civil aviation community.
Since 2000, he has been counsel to Emiratee investors in relation to their European activities.

In the course of his activity, he has developed a network of correspondents in Europe, America and Asia and has entered into a special relationship with Hülsen Michael Hauschke Seewald, in Berlin.
In 2005, he created the Monod-Amar-Boudrant Law Firm with Valérie Amar-Sarfati and Sophie Boudrant-Richter.
